This is the year that I try and get some more outside submissions! I would really like to try and get more sounds on this page other than mine, so if you have anything composed or arranged for brass, make sure and use the contact page to get in touch with me. |

We Three Kings of Orient Are |
| |
|
Price: $12.00 |
Instrumentation: standard brass quintet |
This arrangement pretty much wrote itself! This is one of my favorite holiday carols, and so I
took extra delight in arranging this. Most everybody gets a shot at the melody at some point in
this piece, and there's a nice low horn solo. Trumpet 1 range is up to a written high D, but it is
well-supported by the rest of the quintet. I can see this being a nice staple in anybody's holiday
repertoire--get yours today! |

Good King Wenceslas |
| |
|
Price: $8.50 |
Instrumentation: standard brass quintet |
This is a fun little arrangement of another holiday classic. This features trombone and trumpet 2
on a duet, representing the king and his page that the lyrics of the song describe. The fourth
verse switches into minor, symbolizing the freezing cold night that the king and his page travel
through. The final verse switches back into major and has a robust, happy ending. |

I Saw Three Ships |
| |
|
Price: $8.00 |
Instrumentation: standard brass quintet |
Another of my favorite holiday carols, "I Saw Three Ships" is a rollicking good time. There is an
expressive chorale section in the middle, and the song ends just as spirited as it began.
There are
some rhythm and tonguing passages that are difficult, so be forewarned. That said, this is a
great piece to add to your holiday repertoire! |

O Magnum Mysterium |
| |
|
Price: $8.00 |
Instrumentation: two trumpets, trombone, tuba |
This is a transcription of a Tomas Luis de la Victoria motet. In fact, this is probably his most
famous one. "O Magnum Mysterium" is traditionally sung on Christmas Day. While it doesn't
sound like any of the traditional carols and songs that we're accustomed to hearing around the
holidays, it's nonetheless a beautiful piece of Christmas music. This would be perfect for
Midnight Mass or any other service or function that required not-so-boisterous music. |
